Another layout finished

There were three layouts to copy at Saturdays Scrapping Your Family Class.

The black space to the right of the photo is for white journaling however I wanted to keep that for the family album and will write that in later.

I’m still addicted to Washi tape as you can see by the dotty borders.

For those of you who came to class I will have the class instructions and pictures of the other layouts on the ladies That Craft website tomorrow.

Have a great day xx

Classes

Over the last few weeks I have had loads of requests for a printable class list and also a list about the classes themselves and what they include, so I have made a downloadable class list for you to use. These will also be available at all of the classes so you can pick one up at any time.

Most of these classes are also available as on-line classes and/or kits so if you live to far away but would like to have a go then click the link at the top of the page "Online Kits and Classes" or Online Classes Only" to find out more information.

There are more classes to come including a rag doll class where we will make a Tilda Doll but will give you dates for that at a later date.

You can book any of the classes by clicking the link at the top of the page "Book Your Classes Here" and you can pay using Paypal, by cheque and hopefully very soon by card.

Have a great day

Lots of flowers

Sometimes when I am making cards for a Card Class I get engrossed and before you know it I have a theme going. Last Thursday was no exception as nearly all of the cards features flowers.

There was lots of stamping and colouring this time but it gave everyone the chance to brush up on their colouring skills.

Here are the four cards taught on the day.

Card One – Made with the Heartfelt Creations Stamp

Card Two – Made using a Magenta Stamp I have had for ages but is a favourite of mine.P1170980

Card Three using an unusual backing paper and a stamp with no name on it – sorry.

Card Four – made using the Karen Burniston Dies and the free stamps by Jayne Nestorenko from the front of a magazine.

The card classes get booked fairly quickly so if you would like to come along and make some cards click HERE to book your place.

On a different note, I have been selected as a semi-finalist in the DT competition over at Heartfelt Creations so if you get a chance click HERE and have a look at all of the semi finalists.
Finally here is the link I promised for buying WASHI TAPE.

I’ve been working on something special

and I will share it with you in May along with a brand new class which will be available both on-line and as a class.
P1170899-002
On 12th June I will be hosting the Ladies That Craft Catch Up in the Bowen Rooms at Parkwood Community Centre.

Sometimes its nice just to get together and chat, share ideas and catch up on all those unfinished projects or just start new one. Even if you haven't managed to get to a class yet, you can come along and see what we've all been up to. All of the cards from the Card Classes and the Layouts from the Scrapbook Classes and Scrapping Your Family will be on show along with goodies to buy and bargains to be had.

There will be tables to work on, tea, coffee, biscuits and just the opportunity to see people you haven't seen for a while. You can stay for 1 hour, 2 hours or the whole 5 hours its up to you.
You can knit, sew, scrapbook, make cards, finish projects or just chat.

The price is £1 and this will buy you a raffle ticket with several prizes to win during the day/evening. You can book your place at anytime over the next 6 weeks by paypal, post or in person at one of the classes.

You can pay here.
If this event proves popular I will run this once every three months or so. This will also be the place for quilters ask questions and sign up for the Quilting class beginning in July.

Please e-mail me at ladiesthatcraft@live.co.uk or ring me on 07725 552501 if you have any questions.
Have a great week xxx
