Cards from Card Class

and I must admit that the first two were wholly inspired by the wonderful examples on display at the Craft barn Extravaganza a few weeks ago.

The first was made using a stamp from Indigo Blu and my new favourite (as you can see from my previous post)

P1180211

The second is from stamps by Paper Artsy

P1180212

and the rest were just ideas I had.

P1180210

P1180213

They look great together.

There is another card class next Wednesday so if you want to come along just e-mail me on ladiesthatcraft@live.co.uk or telephone 07725 552501. xx

Thank you

Just had to say a big “Thank You” to Dyan Reaveley and Jennie at the Artistic Stamper today for an amazing class and to the inspired ladies who were friendly and so creative.

IMG_0942

I got suitably messy and had a great time.

IMG_0935

My apologies to the man in the Coop who served the mad woman with the green and purple hands (well I couldn’t get it all off and I desperately needs a bottle of milk).

I am now finishing off one of my pages which I will share at a later date. I am a happy girlSmile

Two new layouts

The first was inspired by my morning at The extravaganza weekend at the Craft Barn last weekend. I saw the card and decided that it would make a great Scrapbook page.

P1180202

I love this stamp from Indigo Blu and I’m sure I’ll use it a lot more.

P1180203

The second was made to celebrate hubbys 60th Birthday and it was the ideal occasion to use my new Die version Die.

P1180207

Just love those dancing people.

P1180198

I am currently making a birthday mini book and will share it as soon as it is finished. Have a great evening xxx

Quilting Class now SOLD OUT

I now have 20 lucky ladies signed up for the quilting classes beginning on 3rd September so thank you to everyone who has decided to “have a go”.

You should all by now have instructions and a material voucher to start you off. Don’t forget to bring it with you when you come along for the first lesson.

I’m afraid that this means the classes have Sold Out well in advance so there will no longer be sign up events as listed in the last newsletter.

If you are interested and would like to be kept informed of future classes please e-mail me at ladiesthatcraft@live.co.uk

So excited!!!!!

Spring layouts

Fed up with the miserable weather I decided to make some spring layouts for the Scrapbook Class last week.

This first one is an adaptation of a sketch I have saved in my note book.

P1180167

I used Washi Tape for the border

P1180169

and decorated punch outs for the banner

P1180171

The second layout was simple but time consuming as it involved sewing on paper……

P1180163

and stamping
