Sunflower

I love these wonderful flowers. There bright colours and sheer size bring summer to any garden

Here is my layout from class a couple of weeks ago.

The flowers are stamped, coloured and cut out. The stamp is by. penny Black and I'm very sure it will be used again xxx

I love tissue paper

In fact I think it's my new favourite medium. So you can imagine how pleased I was when the Docraft DT goodies arrived and they were not only beautiful botanicals but also that the kit included tissue paper.

Boy Racer

Well baby racer really…… My son always wanted to drive, even when he was really little he used to love sitting on the front seat and pretending to drive.
I made the decision this year to try more Boy/Man layouts as I have got so many photos and so I had no excuse,, I needed to make a masculine layout.  Here it is, Layout number two from Saturdays Scrapbook Class

Todays class layout, the first of two, was designed around a photo of my Nan and we believe, her friend on a day out. It looked like they were having a great time.

Numbered Card

It’s always difficult to find something special for someone celebrating a milestone birthday so this time as it was my sisters 50th, I decided to make a card myself.
Here it is

I tried to keep it nice and simple and not Distress it too much.
Here is some detail.

Single Flower Card

So easy to make and ideal if you need a card quickly.
This is card three
 
You can add extras if you want, perhaps a little ladybird or a caterpillar would add an extra splash of colour.

Happy Buzzday

Really into bees at present. I don’t know if it’s the colour or just the fact that seeing bees means summer is on its way.
Card two used the Honeycomb dies and little bees taken from the Creative Stamping set a few issues ago.

The greeting is inside mainly because I couldn’t decide where to put it lol.

First Card from Card Class

I’m going to show the three cards we made over three days starting with the fun card suitable for anyone really.
I got the idea from the punch art tutorials you get on the internet and to be honest I did try a dog first but I wasn’t happy with the look.
So here’s the first of three

He’s so cute, I love him and the great thing is that this works with a tiny card or a big card and makes use of basic shapes.
If you’re unsure of creating the oval by hand then its worth investing in the Xcut Oval Dies available from DoCraft.

Lovely Spring flowers

and luckily for the class, I had already cut them all out on the Scan N Cut. I love this layout, the idea taken from a sketch I found in an old Australian Papercraft magazine. (see it does pay to fill your wardrobe up with magazines…..Hubby please note)
I have also seen something similar on Pinterest so I borrowed the idea of the drawn lines with the liquid pearls on behind the flowers.
So this is layout two

Easter and Spring Layouts

Fantastic to use bright colours this time. I know it was a large class but everyone worked really well and I could just about hear myself think above the light chatter lol.
